For The Bookshelf – Les Sapeurs

I am fascinated by this movement of Black Men who view looking fabulous as a way of life. They are the Sapeurs (Society for the Advancement of People of Elegance). I saw the photo on the cover and became entranced. Bold, daring and elegant; Black men are reclaiming elegance as an integral part of their being. They are trend setters, dandies, peacocks and style mavens who should be celebrated! I can’t wait to get my copy. Check out the links at the end of the post for an in depth history lesson.
